Woman Who Accused Jay-Z Of Sexual Assault Formally Recants Allegations And Says She Never Met Him

A woman identified as Jane Doe formally recanted her sexual assault allegations against Jay-Z in a New York federal court on Thursday, September 24. She declared that Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter never raped her and admitted she has never met or spoken to him. Consequently, the music mogul voluntarily dropped Jane Doe from a malicious-prosecution lawsuit filed against her former attorney, Tony Buzbee. The accuser also apologized to Beyoncé for making these false claims against the artist.
