WATCH: One Dead, 1700 Evacuated as Inferno Races Through Popular Caribbean Resort

A massive beachfront fire decimated a popular Caribbean resort in Bayahibe, Dominican Republic, on Friday. The inferno resulted in the death of one Italian tourist and left nine others injured. Approximately 1,700 guests and staff members were forced to evacuate the premises as the fire nearly destroyed the facility. The resort is frequently visited by Americans and international travelers.
