US Navy stands up hub to prepare unmanned systems for combat

The US Navy, led by the Secretary of the Navy and CNO Adm. Daryl Caudle, has officially established the Robotic and Autonomous Systems Warfighting Development Center (RASWDC). Headquartered at Joint Expeditionary Base, this new autonomous development center aims to train sailors and test emerging technology. The initiative marks a critical milestone in accelerating the development, operational integration, and employment of robotic and autonomous systems (RAS) to better prepare unmanned systems for combat across the maritime domain.
