Universal Music Group has filed a federal lawsuit against DistroKid in the U.S. District Court in Delaware. UMG alleges that the distribution service engaged in deceptive trade practices by creating an AI-slop pipeline. The label claims DistroKid infringed on copyrights by flooding streaming platforms with AI-generated junk music.
