Undead Labs thanks Xbox as it goes solo, State of Decay 3 currently in alpha

Undead Labs has officially split from Xbox to operate as an indie studio. While the developer has secured a new publisher for State of Decay 3, which is currently in alpha for PC and consoles, the transition has not been without challenges. Undead Labs confirmed that it has undergone significant layoffs following its independence from Xbox. The studio expressed gratitude toward Xbox as it moves forward with the development of its upcoming title independently.
