Tornado that carved a path of destruction in Wisconsin stayed on the ground for more than 20 minutes

A powerful tornado ravaged northeastern Wisconsin on Monday, remaining on the ground for over 20 minutes. The storm devastated the Fox Cities region, including Appleton, Menasha, and Neenah, where it leveled homes, flipped cars, and toppled powerlines and trees. First responders searched buildings on Tuesday for possible victims. Winnebago County Executive Gordon Hintz described the impact as incredible and devastating, stating that authorities are currently in the assessment stage following the early afternoon twister.
