Sky has cast David Oyelowo and Viola Prettejohn as the leads for its upcoming TV reimagining of Stieg Larsson's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Oyelowo will portray disgraced journalist Mikael Blomkvist, while Prettejohn will play hacker Lisbeth Salander. This splashy adaptation is a collaboration between Sony Pictures Television and Left Bank Pictures, arriving approximately 15 years after previous versions. The series brings the hit Millennium book series to the network with these new lead actors.
