On-Set Visual Effects Workers on ‘Star Wars’ Productions Join IATSE

U.S. on-set visual effects workers from Star Wars productions, including Ahsoka, Starfighter, and The Mandalorian Grogu, have joined the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees. This new bargaining unit was formed for collective bargaining purposes after the staff demonstrated overwhelming support for unionization. These workers, engaged directly by the franchise productions, now seek organized representation through IATSE to manage their professional terms and conditions across various high-profile titles within the expansive Star Wars universe.
