‘Spring Awakening’ Revival Sets Off Broadway Cast

The off-Broadway revival of the coming-of-age musical Spring Awakening, written by Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik, has announced its principal cast. Ashlyn Maddox will play Wendla, Tyler Jordan Wesley stars as Melchior, and Amalia Yoo joins the production. Other cast members include Jack Bateman as Georg and Jada Simone Clark as Thea. Performances begin at Studio Seaview on November 27, with the official opening scheduled for December 17, featuring several Off Broadway newcomers.
