The Space Force has established a $981M contract vehicle to develop essential testing and training infrastructure. Col. Craig Hackbarth stated this effort creates the foundation for integrating tools necessary to train Space Force Guardians effectively. Gen. Greg Gagnon, head of Space Force Combat Forces Command, noted that several key mission areas currently face a serious lack of simulators.
