Senate unanimously agrees to oppose pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell

The Senate unanimously passed a resolution on Wednesday opposing a presidential pardon or any form of clemency for Ghislaine Maxwell. Introduced by Senator Jacky Rosen, the measure puts the Senate on record against the convicted sex offender and former collaborator of Jeffrey Epstein. Maxwell, who was associated with Epstein for decades, underwent criminal trials for sex trafficking charges related to facilitating Epstein's crimes before his 2019 death in a New York jail cell.
