Russia’s glide bomb strikes hit a new monthly record in August

Russia's crude oil production decreased in August, falling further behind its OPEC+ quota following intensified Ukrainian attacks on oil assets. Simultaneously, Russian aircraft reached a new monthly record by dropping 8,766 glide bombs on Ukrainian front-line positions during August 2026.
