Record diesel prices squeeze U.S. farmers, could raise grocery costs

In Western New York, AAA reported average diesel prices reached $6.36 per gallon, a sharp increase from $3.89 last year. These rising expenses for operating tractors and heavy equipment make it difficult for farmers to turn a profit.
