Patagonia will give you $100 to get your friends to vote

Patagonia is investing $11.2 million in a nontraditional get-out-the-vote campaign to encourage environmental voters to participate in November. The company offers customers a $100 credit for nudging three friends or family members to vote. This initiative, starting Saturday, addresses the fact that approximately 11.2 million Americans who prioritize the climate and environment do not vote. Corley Kenna of Patagonia's communications and policy team stated the goal is to increase turnout given the planet's current state.
