OpenAI unveils Presence, a new platform that lets enterprises launch and manage realtime voice agents and chatbots

OpenAI has launched Presence, an enterprise platform for deploying and managing AI agents across internal and customer-facing workflows. The tool allows eligible customers to implement agents that answer queries, access systems, and escalate to humans based on company policies. Presence is currently available through a limited general availability program, requiring OpenAI Forward Deployed Engineers or global systems integrators for deployment. The product is not self-service, and pricing and geographic limits remain undisclosed by OpenAI.
