OpenAI just open-sourced Codex Security

OpenAI has open-sourced its entire security stack, comprising AEGIS and ENLIL. AEGIS serves as an intrusion detection and prevention system that monitors traffic and correlates signals across nine layers, including post-quantum forensic logging. ENLIL handles deliberation by running nine LLMs in parallel to analyze threats. By removing gatekeeping from both detection and deliberation components, OpenAI aims to determine if these free tools effectively assist users in managing security threats and adaptive moving-target defense.
