North Dakota Supreme Court upholds conviction of former Cass County deputy

A former north Alabama police officer is appealing a DUI conviction following a wreck in downtown Huntsville in September 2025. Separately, the North Dakota Supreme Court upheld the conviction of former Cass County deputy Carson Theodore Quam. Quam was convicted in March of this year on five counts of possession of child sex abuse material. Both cases involve legal proceedings regarding former law enforcement officers facing criminal convictions in different jurisdictions across the United States.
