Navy launches Robotics and Autonomous Systems Warfighting Development Center

The Navy launched the Robotic and Autonomous Systems Warfighting Development Center (RASWDC) at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story in Virginia. Operating under U.S. Fleet Forces Command, the center focuses on rapidly integrating robotic and drone systems to maintain a decisive maritime advantage. RASWDC is currently developing a phased implementation plan to address essential resource requirements, command structure, and mission relationships, ensuring the strategic integration of autonomous technologies into naval warfighting operations for enhanced maritime capabilities.
