Max Miller’s Team Threatened Stations If They Ran Challenger’s Ad. They Did Anyway

At least four Ohio television stations aired a 30-second campaign advertisement from Democrat Brian Poindexter despite legal threats from Republican incumbent Max Miller. The ad features a local sheriff citing domestic violence allegations against Miller to argue he is unfit for office. Miller's team threatened stations that ran the spot, claiming the advertisement is filled with lies. Nevertheless, the stations proceeded to roll out the campaign material as part of the ongoing congressional race in Ohio.
