Man killed after being chased down, shot by suspects in Grand Crossing

A 26-year-old man was fatally shot Friday night in Grand Crossing. The incident began around 7 p.m. in the 7500 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue when suspects pointed a gun at him. The victim fled in his vehicle, but suspects pursued and shot him in traffic. After being struck in the back and knee, he hit a pole. He was pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center by Chicago police.
