Joel & Ethan Coen To Be Honored With France’s Lumière Award

Joel and Ethan Coen will receive the Lumière Award during the 18th edition of the Lumière Festival in Lyon, France, from October 10-18. Headed by Thierry Frémaux, the festival focuses on classic cinema and iconic filmmakers. The brothers, globally revered for cult works like Blood Simple, Raising Arizona, and their 1991 Cannes Palme d’Or-winning dark comedy thriller, will be feted for their contributions to film at this prestigious event dedicated to the history of cinema.
