Jackie the bald eagle is showing signs of improvement after experiencing a health setback. Rescued near Big Bear Lake in a weak state, she is currently receiving round-the-clock intensive care at the Ojai Raptor Center. Although wildlife officials describe her condition as stable but critical, reports indicate she has become more feisty. The eagle continues to battle an illness resulting from a confrontation with two subadult bald eagles while remaining under professional medical supervision.
