Is the G7 hearing the Global South?

Gustavo de Carvalho of SAIIA informed Al Jazeera that while Africa maintained a seat at the table during the G7 Declaration in France, further efforts are needed to amplify Global South voices. Simultaneously, reports from Bangkok highlight that the collapse of previous international cooperation financing systems has caused disastrous harm. Consequently, Global South leaders are now focused on redesigning these frameworks to reduce vulnerability to shocks and improve global response capabilities moving forward.
