Microsoft is quietly removing the Copilot+ PC branding from its latest laptops, including new Surface models. This shift follows a problematic 2024 launch where security researchers identified significant vulnerabilities in the Recall feature. Consequently, various OEMs and Microsoft have stopped using the moniker in marketing materials. Even high-end AI devices, such as Project Zenith and the Nvidia RTX Spark, no longer feature the label despite meeting the necessary system requirements for Windows 11 AI PCs.
