I Made REGENT: An MCP Server for Configuring OpenWrt Routers Through an AI

New MCP servers are expanding AI capabilities. NPMScan now offers a public, read-only MCP server allowing AI agents to query npm package metadata, versions, and security advisories without API keys. Simultaneously, REGENT has been introduced as an MCP server providing AI agents with root access to OpenWrt routers. REGENT enables AI to analyze entire router configurations, identify complex network errors, and implement fixes using plain language, eliminating the need for manual command line intervention.
