‘Heated Rivalry’ Star Hudson Williams Sparks TIFF Chaos, Teases Season 2

Hudson Williams has gained significant spotlight following the premiere of Heated Rivalry on Crave and HBO Max in November 2025. The series, adapted from Rachel Reid’s Game Changers novels, depicts a romantic saga between hockey stars Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov. Currently filming Season 2 in Toronto, Williams described the surreal experience of returning to his role as Shane Hollander, admitting he initially worried about doing an impression of the character after the show's massive success.
