Hawaii island man charged with murder in Saturday shooting

Hawaii island police charged a 49-year-old Pahoa man with second-degree murder following the fatal shooting of a 41-year-old Keaau man in the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision on Saturday night. Separately, prosecutors charged 23-year-old Moises Pimentel as the third suspect in the July 4 murder of a Cambridge DPW worker. Pimentel was allegedly one of two masked individuals who confronted and shot the uniformed off-duty city employee during the incident reported by Boston.com.
