Final Fantasy XIV launches on August 4 for Nintendo Switch 2, pre-orders go live todayx

Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy XIV Online will launch for the Nintendo Switch 2 on August 4, 2026. Pre-orders are currently live for several versions, including the Starter Edition, Complete Edition, Collector's Edition, and the Dawntrail Expansion. Additionally, a free trial will be available for the MMORPG on Nintendo's new hybrid system. This update follows an earlier announcement that the title would arrive on the platform during August of 2026.
