Eric Schrier is stepping down from his position as President of Direct-to-Consumer International Originals, Strategic Programming, and Emerging Media at Disney. A veteran of FX and Disney for 26 years, Schrier is not leaving the company. Instead, he is transitioning to a producing deal to launch a new production company based at Disney Entertainment Television. This change in status was announced internally by Disney Entertainment Television chairman Debra OConnell, marking a shift in his executive role.
