Coy 'Denver' Parton, the older brother of Dolly Parton, died at age 82 on Thursday, July 23. According to an obituary from Atchley Funeral Home, Denver resided in Sevierville, Tennessee, and worked for years as a crane operator. He was one of 12 children born to Lee Parton and Avie Lee Owens Parton in Sevier County. At the time of publication, an official cause of death for the deceased had not been publicly revealed.
