Colson Whitehead’s ‘Harlem’ Trilogy TV Show in Development at Apple (EXCLUSIVE)

Apple TV has acquired the rights to Colson Whitehead’s Harlem trilogy for an ongoing series currently in early development. The adaptation will be based on the bestselling crime novels Harlem Shuffle, Crook Manifesto, and the recently published Cool Machine. Graham Yost, the creator of Silo, and producer Aric Avelino are tasked with adapting the material. The project aims to bring Whitehead's acclaimed literary crime world to the streaming platform through a dedicated television production.
