British drone submarine fires torpedo off Scotland

The Royal Navy's Excalibur, an extra-large uncrewed underwater vehicle, successfully launched a US Mk 48 heavyweight torpedo during trials conducted off the coast of Scotland. This event marks the first time the U.S. and U.K. have fired a torpedo from an uncrewed submarine.
