Body discovered in The Bay connected to Volare boating accident near Alcatraz

The San Francisco Office of the Chief Medical Examiner identified a body discovered in the water near Point Diablo, west of the Golden Gate Bridge, on July 25. The deceased has been identified as 74-year-old Carol Boisa. Boisa was a passenger aboard the boat involved in the tragic Volare boating accident that occurred near Alcatraz in the SF Bay. The discovery follows the search efforts related to the maritime disaster in the region.
