Ariel Levy, a New Yorker Staff Writer, Joins ’60 Minutes’ as Contributor

Ariel Levy, a staff writer at The New Yorker known for profiling political figures and analyzing sexuality, is joining 60 Minutes as a contributor. This addition occurs as Bari Weiss, editor in chief of CBS News, remakes the show. Executive Producer Nick Bilton described Levy as an astonishingly original writer and reporter who fearlessly explores sensitive topics and far-flung locations. Levy previously spent nearly three decades working at New York magazine before her tenure at The New Yorker.
