Apple won’t turn on any ‘restricted mode’ for missed lease payments

Apple informed The Verge that the Restricted Mode currently under development for iOS 27 will not be activated due to missed lease payments within the new Upgrade program. Spokesperson Brian Bumbery stated that no limitations will be placed on device functionality if a user defaults on payments.
