1 injured in North Nashville shooting, Metro police say

Two separate shooting incidents were reported by police departments. In North Nashville, the Metro Nashville Police Department stated that one person was injured on the 2000 block of Ed Temple Blvd around 9 p.m. and transported to a hospital. Meanwhile, in the western Las Vegas Valley, an off-duty corrections officer with the Metropolitan Police Department sustained injuries during a shooting. Both events involved law enforcement reporting injuries resulting from gunfire in their respective jurisdictions.
